We recommend you to renew the Software Maintenance period prior to the expiration date to continue to receive Maintenance benefits. Annual maintenance provides rich opportunities for just 25% of the regular price.

Special pricing on additional licenses

If you have an active maintenance, you are eligible for a discount when you need to increase the number of activations available for your license or if you need a new licence. The discount typically no less than 10% of the regular price.

Maintenance FAQs

1. When does my maintenance start and end ?

The start date of the maintenance period depends on the type of purchase you are making:

New license purchase : Your 12 months of free software maintenance begins on the date of purchase.
Maintenance renewal purchase: Your 12 or 24 months software maintenance will begin on the expiration date of the previous maintenance period, regardless of when the maintenance renewal was purchased.

2. What happens after the first 12 months ?

All new licenses for Autoplay Menu Designer include 12 months of Software Maintenance for free.

Renewing maintenance is entirely optional: you can continue to use an older version of our software if you don't wish to renew. We keep archived versions of our software should you need an old version.

Renewing your software maintenance is done at your discretion and can be renewed in advance of your maintenance expiration to ensure uninterrupted access to the support and software updates.

3. How Do I Know If It's Expired ?

The software should display an expiration date on the "About" dialog, and will warn you not less than 45 days that the maintenance period expires(could be overridden on the Main menu->Tools->Options->Updates). But feel free to contact us on support@visualdesigning.com at any time if you need assistance.

4. Why should I renew ?

We constantly improve and update our software and you'll get the benefit of improvements made to the software. Check out the release history to see what we have recently improved.

5. When can I renew ?

Before or after expiration of the software maintenance period you may renew software maintenance for one or two years. Subsequent renewal periods of the software maintenance commence upon the expiration of the prior software maintenance period regardless of when the new one is purchased.

Renewal of software maintenance is only possible if the expiration date of the new period lies in the future. This means that if the software maintenance period expired more than two years ago, renewal of software maintenance is not possible.

6. How much does it cost?

Annual Maintenance can be purchased in 1 or 2 year increments.

1 years - 25% of the regular price for your license.
2 years - 45% of the regular price for your license.
