This action allows to launch, open, copy any file or  folder  when the left mouse button is clicked on an object at run time.

 

To use this action click a checkbox File/Folder actions. You can use an unlimited number of actions. Each action has it's own tab. The tab number shows the order of the action to be done. To add a new file action press the "Add file" button. To add a new folder action press the "Add folder" button.  To delete current file/folder action press the "Delete" button.

 

 

 

Action: specify the action. The following actions can be specified:

       "Run/Open" - this action allows to launch executable file or open any folder or any file (document).

       "Copy" - this action allows to copy any file or folder to a hard drive.

 

File/Folder name: specify the path and the name of the file/folder.

 

Show errors: when this option is enabled and an error occurs an error message box will be displayed.

 

For Run/Open action the following options can be specified:

 

Show window style: specify how the application is displayed when it is opened. If it's a document file, the value is simply passed to the associated application. The following styles can be specified:

         "Default" - application will be opened in its previous state.

         "Maximize" - shows the window as a maximized one.

         "Minimize" - shows the window as a minimized one.

         "Normal" - shows the window as its original size and position.

 

Command line: specify one or more command line parameters to pass to the launching executable file.

 

Alternative start: specify a alternative application that you want to start if the primary file name is not found or can't be opened.

 

 

For Copy action the following options can be specified:

 

Copy to: specify  where the file/folder will be copied to. One of the following:

"Select  folder from dialog" -  file/folder will be copied into destination folder which user selected using system dialog. You can set Additional path which will be added to destination folder. (Sample, if Destination folder: C:\, Additional path: ADDPATH\FOTO, then final destination folder will be C:\ADDPATH\FOTO).

"Last selected folder" - file/folder will be copied into the folder last selected by user.

"Specified folder" - file/folder will be copied into folder specified in the Target path (can contain Path variables).

 

Include subfolder: Enable this option to copy recursively with subdirectories. This option is available only for folder actions.

 

To specified additional options for action press "More>>" button.

 

 

Run/Open after copy: this option is available only for Copy action. Enable this option if you want to run/open file/folder after copying is finished.

 

Start on condition: Enable this option if you want the action to start only if a variable meets certain condition. Set Variable(must contain valid Registry Variable name), Condition, and Value (string or Hex-value).

 

 

 

Available for: polyline, rectangle, ellipse, text , cool text , image, hotarea.
